We have experienced the hardships our people have gone through and we are here to contribute to the revival of Love and Commitment to Possibilities, Purpose, and Vision.
BayBGirl is a resource center dedicated to our communities. Our founder, Karie Boyd is a Bay Area local, born and raised. She is the CEO of one of the top litigation law firms in California. After recognizing the need to make learning and advocacy more accessible to her community she created BayBGirl as a way to give back to the people she loves, admires, and believes in.
BayBGirl has also created the BayBGirl Academy which is dedicated to releasing courses, both free and at cost, that will assist individuals in living their best life AND learning the gift of service and giving back. You will find free courses related to domestic violence, evictions, and self-representation awareness. You will also find monthly membership opportunities for self empowerment and fulfilling your wildest wishes and greatest visions. You will find local resources that will assist you. You will learn how the creative aspects of art, music and dance are often the greatest uplifters and healers of self and community.
BayBGirl is dedicated to Trina Williams, mother to Mona and Sherman Williams. 30 years ago she was murdered by her boyfriend in front of her children. Both Sherman and Mona have become incredible human beings despite losing their mother in such a tragic way. They miss her every day and BayBGirl is committed to keeping her memory alive. God rest her soul.
